The Wire Cutter Applicator is a compact, tabletop mountable machine that uses hardened shear blades driven by a pneumatic cylinder to cut electrical wires. The applicator is perfect for industrial applications due to low maintenances. The blades does not require frequent sharpening as it is hardened material and uses shear strength to cut the wire. A photoelectric sensor is also added to the system to detect the presence of the wire inserted. The tendency of the wire to wiggle upwards during cutting is avoiding by a wire lock block which restricts the wire movement.
